Quality enhancement is a continuous and consistent process in an institution and thus NAAC insisted on every accredited institution to establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) for the sustenance of quality education. The IQAC develops a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the overall performance of the institution. Instead of just a documentation unit, it will be a facilitative and participative unit of the institution. The success of the quality enhancement can be achieved with planning and imperative strategies.
NAAC has initiated the IQAC with certain objectives, strategies and functions as follows:
To transform organizational and individual potential to create productive and responsible citizens.
To stimulate an academic environment for promotion of teaching- learning process and research. To channelize changes towards all round development of students through facilitation, community participation and sensitization to social and ethical issues.
