Abuse of alcohol, drug, narcotic substances is becoming an increasing threat in our country.
Studies show that even school children are attracted to liquor, narcotic substances and
tobacco products. A significant proportion of these young people eventually get addicted
posing a threat to their own health and safety, while causing untold distress to their families
and the public at large.
In order to curb this menace, QMC runs an ANTI-DRUG CLUB. The club was initiated to prevent
substance abuse and addictive behaviours in the campus. This club strives to augment and
strengthen the existing awareness programmes and transform the students against abuse of
drugs and alcohol as well. To create awareness among students a Seminar on "DRUG
MENACE AMONG ADOLESCENTS" was conducted on 1st November 2022.
