PROFILE

DR. C. RAMALAKSHMI, is a strong proponent of Subalternism. She specializes in Women’s Studies and she also researches Dalitism. She completed her PhD from Ethiraj College for Women, where she studied “Women and Politics in Tamil Nadu With Special Reference to Women Legislators”. She completed her M.Phil from  Madras Christian College where she enquired about Dalitism in Tamil Cinema. She had done her Refresher Course in History from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
