The Department of Zoology started its research activities in the year 2002 with M.Phil., followed by Ph.D in the year 2012. As on date, 15 students have completed their Ph.D course. 18 students are pursuing their Ph.D.  All the staff in the department are doctorates and are qualified to conduct research.
